 We've set up a series of conferences where we can exchange ideas and resources in a secure environment.
 Discuss & connect You can use conferences to:
• solicit information on a variety of subjects
• make contact with your peers
• talk about a specific topic
• reduce telephone tag
The Faculty Area is an example of a discussion conference.
LearnConferences can focus on a single topic. For example, the Working with FirstClass conference is used to help you learn how to use FirstClass. In future, we could use conferences to extend traditional workshops by continuing the discussion and reflecting on the information.
Share resourcesConferences are also a great place to share resources. You can contribute or access:

• sample problems
• primary source materials
• uploaded files
• references to web resources
